EDUCATION:
Completion of secondary school or Public Service Commission approved alternative.
Degree equivalency
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION:
Possession of a valid Class 5 drivers license
EXPERIENCE:
• Acceptable* experience in:
o performing routine maintenance tasks;
o general labouring and/or trail maintenance tasks;
o the operation and maintenance of a chainsaw and other related hand tools, and/or acceptable experience with light equipment such as mini excavators, skid steers, and tractors;
• Experience in providing leadership, supervision and direction to work crews, reviewing crew work and performance management;
• Experience in construction site logistics, work planning, and reading blue-prints;
• Experience in the supervision of job sites in relation to the construction of trails,
campgrounds, and Day Use Areas, and other built assets;
• Experience in the coordination of staff to achieve project goals.

*Acceptable is defined by a minimum of 12 months experience.

pedestrian bridges;
• To lead, plan and organize for successful delivery of project requirements;
• To read and interpret construction plans and specifications;

• To maintain logs and records;
• To use a variety of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and e-mail.
