Plans, adapts, develops, schedules and delivers interpretive presentations, programs and activities to visitors of Pukaskwa National Park. Provide visitors with leaning opportunities, fostering discovery and appreciation of its natural and cultural resources. Located in northern Ontario, Pukaskwa National Park is a vast, wild, natural playground found on the edge of the world’s largest freshwater lake. At over 1800 km2 in size, it is a place where powerful waves collide with rugged, towering coastlines; a place of endless sunsets over sandy driftwood beaches. A place where everyone can catch a glimpse of the rich traditions, values and contemporary life of the Anishinaabe, the local First Nations people. Graduation from post-secondary studies (minimum of 2 year program) OR an acceptable combination of education, training, experience or traditional knowledge relevant to the position.
Note: Acceptable combination of education, training and experience consists of:
A secondary school diploma or PSC approved alternatives; AND
Successful completion of a minimum of three (3) courses relevant to the duties of the position (e.g. courses taken through continuing education facilities, colleges, universities, professional or governmental organizations or employers including training provided by Aboriginal elders or group that may include but are not limited to courses in heritage interpretation, communications, public speaking, performing arts); AND
A minimum of 6 months experience working in the fields of education, interpretation and/or outreach communications.

. Travel (e.g. training, workshops), including overnight, off site and/or weekends;
. Stand/walk/hike/sit for prolonged periods;
. Perform physical tasks such as guiding a group of vistors over rough terrain.
This position requires the incumbent to:
