Intent of the process

A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff similar positions within Shared Services Canada and Library and Archives Canada with various tenures (assignment, secondment, acting, specified period or indeterminate) and/or various linguistic requirements and profiles (English Essential & Bilingual Imperative BBB/BBB, CBC/CBC and CCC/CCC) as well as various security requirements and work locations, which may vary according to the position being staffed.

EDUCATION

A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.

Notes:

1. Based on their education, training and/or experience, indeterminate incumbents of positions in the IS classification are deemed to meet the minimum education standard whenever a bachelor's degree without specialization is called for in a position classified as IS.

2. At the manager's discretion, an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, may serve as an alternative to the minimum education standard.
Degree equivalency
EXPERIENCE

E1: Experience in developing and producing Web content.

E2: Experience editing, creating and publishing web content using a web content management system (CMS).

E3: Experience in developing Web pages from supplied texts using Web mark-up.

E4: Experience in assisting with visual layout and the presentation of Web pages.

E5: Experience with WET (Web Experience Toolkit) and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
