Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience is working within a framework of established practices and procedures, using knowledge of government and/or commercial transportation rules, regulations, laws, and procedures governing the movement of materials and use of commercial carriers to assist in arranging for the movement of freight or general cargo. Examples of specialized experience include 1.) Assisting in arranging for the movement of freight or general cargo; 2.) Assisting in obtaining the most cost effective and efficient transportation; 3.) Following prescribed guidelines to identify the appropriate method of transportation; 4) Generating Bills of Lading, labels, and documentation for shipments; 5) Considering factors including required delivery date, dimensions, nature of cargo, and specialized equipment requirements.

Education:
You may also use education to qualify for the position provided you have successfully completed four years of education above the high school level in any field for which high graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. The education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college, or university.

Requirements:
- Active duty military members MAY apply under this announcement. If selected, appointment eligibility requirements must be met prior to the effective date of appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
