Summary

About the Agency

The selectee for this position will serve as a Medical Records Technician in the Health Information Management Division, Patient Administration Department of NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER-San Diego.

Duties

The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

• Prepare, scan, and index documents into Health Artifacts and Image Management (HAIMS) Solution computer system.
• Perform electronic medical record analysis for all patient types.
• Scan and maintain documents into Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) computer system.
• Perform Defense Enrollment Eligibility Report System (DEERS) eligibility checks.
• Analyze, compile and retrieve paper medical records.

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Or have equivalent combinations of education and experience mentioned above.
