Joining the Office of Infrastructure Protection (IP) means leading the coordinated national effort to reduce risk to our critical infrastructure posed by acts of terrorism, natural disaster, or other emergency. As a Regulatory Analyst you will perform a variety of compliance and outreach assignments in support of implementing the CFATS regulation.

Duties


The incumbent of this position will be responsible for performing a variety of compliance and outreach assignments in support of implementing Chemical Facility Anti-terrorism Standards (CFATS) regulation:

Specific duties include the following and unlisted similar duties:
  • Assist with a variety of CFATS compliance activities
  • Use quantitative and qualitative analysis information to review information and make recommendations to leadership and implement the decisions
  • Processing and reviewing the initial phase of redetermination requests.
  • Initiate, schedule, and, as necessary, conduct technical consultations and compliance assistance visits to provide regulatory subject matter expertise.
  • Assists in developing trend analysis suspicious activity, and SSP planned measure reports for the Region related to chemical facilities of interest
  • Prepare and present written and oral presentations on program status and ongoing operational activities and requests for information
