Parks Canada is a federal government agency responsible for the protection and presentation of Canada's outstanding natural and cultural resources through a system of national parks, national marine conservation areas and national historic sites in all regions of Canada.

Completion of at least 2 years secondary schooling (Gr 11)
Degree equivalency

• Knowledge of natural and cultural heritage specific to Riding Mountain National Park
• Ability to carry out instructions accurately and efficiently

• Ability to work cooperatively as a part of a team
• Ability to adapt in order to work effectively in ambiguous or changing situations, and with diverse individuals and groups

Experience in working with Excel
Experience in handling cash and maintaining a petty cash float.
Knowledge of data entry, sorting and filing answering phones and other clerical duties such as mail distribution.

Conditions of employment

Reliability Status security clearance - Reliability Status security clearance is required.
Be in possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license - minimum Class 5I (Intermediate level) Licence.
