Provides general maintenance, repair and labour services to support grounds, roads and facilities maintenance; construction and installations; and other general maintenance and repair requirements for Grasslands National Park.

• Experience in grounds keeping, equipment/fleet maintenance, operation and servicing;
• General experience in trades (carpentry, plumbing and electrical);
• General experience in building and fence construction and maintenance.

• Work shift-work, and/or weekends, and/or statutory holidays and provincial/territorial holidays;
• Wear a Parks Canada uniform as per the uniform policy as per Parks Canada requirements;
• Must wear safety equipment as identified by supervisor;
• Work and/or travel in varied terrains, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation;
• Must be able to perform the duties required by the position including
moderate physical effort, stand/walk/hike for prolonged periods;
• Must be willing to handle livestock or wildlife.
