About the Agency

The selectee for this position will serve as a Management Assistant (OA) in the Pulmonary Medicine Department, Directorate of Medical Services of NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER-San Diego.

Duties

The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

• Providing technical support services for systems, application and users.
• Analyzing, verifying, and processing the payments of all government contracts.
• Developing and maintaining correspondence with outside vendors to track purchases.
• Stocking, organizing, labeling and coordinating the maintenance of supplies.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

For the GS-07, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing structure, functions, processes, services and resources requirements of the Respiratory, Pulmonary and Critical Care department.; Establishing and maintaining database to project supply and equipment purchases.; Applying basic methods to collect types of information for decision making and planning to complete assignments.; Preparing reports that describe condition of programs and improvements.
