Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as securing carriers to arrange for pick, delivery, and storage of shipments; identifying the mode or combination of modes, types of special equipment, and services required for shipments; or advising customers of inadequacies or inaccuracies in shipping request and related documentation. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include some or all of the following: 1) Providing shipping assistance to customers; 2) Assisting with determining the method of transportation based on shipment priority and item characteristics; 3) Contacting customers to provide shipment status or to obtain require information pertaining to shipping needs; 4) Reviewing shipping documents for accuracy; and 5) Using automated transportation systems to locate, add, retrieve or correct routine shipment information.

Have successfully completed four years of education above high school level. This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.

Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Your percentage of the required education plus your percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent. Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e. beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

-Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final (e.g., confidential/secret/top secret, etc.) security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Travel
