Duties
Performs a variety of technical surveillance and analysis activities for the Contract Management Office on any contract type including individual procurement, production, sustainment or major program acquisitions with experience in production and manufacturing of complex weapon systems.
Enforces contract requirements and regulatory standards related to the supplies or services being acquired.
Preforms manufacturing and production process reviews and floor checks, in conjunction with, monitoring and analyzing contractor productions effort, delivery status and scheduling reports.
Ensure the contractor is following the correct procedures, formatting, and content including description of the discrepancy type and location.
Evaluate and risk rate a contractor's production capacity for one or more facilities.
Performs contract review to identify contractual technical requirements and develop required tasks for the execution of the surveillance plans.
Reviews contractor cost proposals for sustainment or production items.
Performs trend analysis of a contractor's production and delivery status using spreadsheets to document.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-09).
Specialized experience is defined as: experience that demonstrates knowledge of the methods, materials, machinery, and facilities used in industrial production operations, which includes industrial planning of facilities and layout; comprehensive survey and analysis of industrial operations; and interpreting and applying contract clauses and government acquisition regulations for complex weapons systems.
Education can be substituted for experience.

This is a Defense Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level II within 24 months of entrance on duty.
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
