Duties

Caterer (Developmental) NF-02 Duties: In a developmental capacity, receives training and close supervision in the performance of duties and responsibilities as set forth in the position guide. Gradually assumes more responsibility and learns to perform the full scope of the duties required of the position AK092, Caterer.

• Completes a prescribed agenda of formal/informal training and self development as set forth in the Individual Development Plan.
• Learn how to identify requirements and initiates requests for additional resources including personnel, overtime, equipment, supplies to ensure success in meeting goals and objectives.
• Learn how to establish and maintains records, files related to catered functions.
• Learn how to work within an established budget.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: CATERER (DEV) - NF02
Demonstrated work experience related directly to the catering or food & beverage industry. Possess prior customer service experience. Knowledge and experience of basic computer skills and software including but not limited to: Word Processing, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and the ability to learn catering management software.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: CATERER - NF03
Demonstrated minimum one year of work experience or education in managing, directing or assisting in the management or direction of activities related to the catering or food and beverage industry. Possess prior customer service experience. Possess basic computer skills and software including but not limited to: Word Processing, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and ability to learn catering and food management software.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

1. If selected, a completed and signed copy of our job application form (DA Form 3433) is required prior to entrance on duty.
2. Meet all qualification/eligibility requirements.
3. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification check.
4. Must be able to work irregular hours, holiday's, evenings, weekends, and special events.
5. Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR215-3, 2-13 to include a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
