About the Position:This position may be filled in Los Angeles, CA (salary range $56,075 to $72,901) or Phoenix, AZ (salary range $51,283 to 66,671). This position has non-competitive promotion potential to the full performance level. A GS-11 requires one year to the GS-09.

Duties
In a developmental capacity, the incumbent plans, develops, coordinates and implements processes and procedures related to schedule, budget, cost data, data integrity, using the network analysis systems (NAS), website based training, and document management systems for managed projects. Assignments are designed to expand and foster the incumbent's knowledge, skill and experience leading to more complex work commensurate with the next higher grade level.
Performs duties in support of project management by maintaining control, coordination and execution of assigned projects. The degree of oversight by the Project Manager will depend on the complexity of the project. Working with the Project Managers (PM) and Project Delivery Teams (PDT), the Project Management Specialist accomplishes project management related duties in the day to day management, processing, scheduling, and control of projects using the network analysis system (NAS) for the P2 program (P3e Primavera Project Planner Enterprise), Reporting Suite, Oracle Tutor, and Oracle Projects) in accordance with the Project Management Business Process (PMBP), and Project Management Plans (PMP). The Project Management Specialist uses their knowledge of business processes and project controls in planning and scheduling tasks for military, environmental, IIS, construction, planning, real estate, operations, regulatory, and/or civil works projects.
