About the Agency

The selectee for this position will serve as a Library Technician in the Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic site Patuxent River, MD of FRC DET MIDLANT PAX RIVER MD MPN.

Duties

The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

• Receive, process and maintain all Navy, Air Force or Army or Commercial manuals.
• Establish and maintain automatic distribution requirements for the central and dispersed technical publications libraries.
• Maintain an automated data processing system.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Orders, receives, files, distributes and enters data using the NATEC Electronic Library Management System (ELMS), Portable Electronic Maintenance Aids (PEMA), Electronic Technical Information Manuals System (ETIMS) and the Logistics Information Website (LIW).
