This position is located at Custer Hill Bowling Center. The recently remodeled, state-of-the-art facility is a wonderful place for families to enjoy friendly competition, family fun, or a night out. The facility includes 24 lanes with Qubica AMF BESx scoring systems, Full-service snack bar and Pro Shop.

Duties

• Performs routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical bowling equipment, components and assemblies.
• Adjusts equipment in accordance with guidance provided by and identifies potential malfunctions to the Bowling Equipment Repairer.
• Assists the Bowling Equipment Repairer in making repairs, adjusting equipment and related duties.
• Cleans and maintains the bowling facility by replacing light bulbs; making minor repairs to vacuum cleaners, buffers, etc.; scrubbing, washing and polishing floors, walls and other surfaces; and by assisting in stocking, inventory, and related duties in the bowling facility.

Skills and Knowledge: Skilled in the use of electrical test
equipment and tools. Working knowledge of manufacturer's
diagrams, specifications and schematics.

Responsibility: Recognize and report malfunctions. Performs
routine duties without directions.

Physical Effort: Lifts and carries items weighing up to 40
pounds. Moves large items weighing up to 100 pounds. Works in
awkward positions.

Working Conditions: Work is indoors. Work area is usually noisy.
May be required to wear protective clothing.

Travel Required

• Occasional Travel
• Minimal travel may be required for training purposes, local to Fort Riley.

Qualifications

3. Be physically able to work for extended periods of time in cramped and awkward positions.
