Lindsay SchwartzInvestigators from the University of Rochester, in partnership with the Center for Excellence in Assisted Living (CEAL) and 9 national organizations representing providers, advocates, and other stakeholders in assisted living (AL) are conducting a national survey focusing on care and resident safety. We ask for your participation in this important survey, which includes over 4,000 AL communities randomly chosen from across the country. If your AL community receives this survey, we strongly encourage the administrators and staff to complete them and mail back to investigators in postage-paid envelopes provided with the survey. All surveys are totally confidential. Findings from this survey, which will be shared in aggregate (no individual data will be shared) with all participating ALs, may help to improve the quality of the work environment for staff as well as care safety for all residents.
