#WhyICare: Albert Munanga , Regional Director of Health & Wellness

Earlier this year, AHCA/NCAL launched a workforce campaign titled #WhyICare. The campaign broadcasts the stories of individuals who work in long term care, sharing what inspires them about their careers and how they got to where they are today.

We’re pleased to share another video that features Albert Munanga, Regional Director of Health & Wellness for Era Living. Albert’s story is unique in that when he first came to the United States, he had the goal of becoming an accountant. While taking his accounting classes, he found side work at a long term care facility. “That’s where the magic happened,” Albert said. He quickly realized he had a passion for helping others and transitioned his education to health science to pursue a career in long term care. Click here to watch and share Albert’s story.
