Then seize this opportunity to join Parks Canada with the Quebec Field Unit Team.The Quebec Field Unit administrative offices are located in the centre of the Old Quebec. The Quebec Field Unit is responsible of overseeing the operation of six national historic sites located on both the North and the South shore of Quebec city; the Fortifications-of-Quebec, Saint-Louis-Forts-and Castles, Montmorency park, Cartier-Brebeuf, Levis Forts and Grosse-Île-and-the-Irish-Memorial. The sites located in the Old Quebec are components of the historical district of the Old Quebec, site of the UNESCO World Heritage.
Intent of the process
This process could be used to staff similar term or indeterminate positions within the Field Unit. Those positions would have the same work description but could have different lenght of employment, location and/or linguistic profile.Positions to be filled: Number to be determined

- Stand for prolonged periods of time:
- When offering guided tours, Heritage Presenter must frequently stand and walk on long distances (up to more than one kilometer) ;
- Handle historic weapons or other types of materials ;
- For the positions located at Grosse-Ile NHS, employee must accept to stay on the island during his/her shift and to travel by boat and plane.

Persons who have received pay in lieu of unfulfilled surplus period, a Transition Support Measure (TSM) or an Educational Allowance and are re-appointed to the Parks Canada Agency are required to reimburse an amount corresponding to the period from the effective date of such reappointment or hiring, to the end of the original period for which the TSM and education allowance was paid.
