If you are an enthusiastic and organized administrative professional looking for your next challenging opportunity, then come join the Court Services Division, where you will provide confidential administrative and clerical support to management staff.
• provide first point-of-contact service for Manager of Court Operations office by receiving and screening visitors, internal and external telephone calls, and incoming mail
• identify key issues and priorities for immediate action, provide information and assistance relating to program and administrative services
• perform administrative services by producing typed materials, draft routine correspondence and ensuring accuracy by proofreading materials
• organize, manage and maintain electronic and manual records management, data and filing systems
• ensure established quality service standards are met
• control the manager's schedule by booking appointments using Outlook, giving consideration to other known commitments and priorities
• ensure Manager of Court Operations has all necessary material (agendas, minutes, submissions etc) required to attend various local, regional and divisional committee meetings
• liaise with court and government officials, staff, judiciary, public and Facilities Management, in a multi-court environment on administrative/building issues
• monitor employee attendance records, merit dates and contract end dates for purposes of WIN approval and reconciliation of attendance records
• enter employee time sheet information into computerized system

• an understanding of human resources recruitment activities, procedures and practices

• written communication skills and understanding of grammar, syntax and spelling to accurately prepare correspondence, reports and presentations
