* Given current operational needs, and the national and international role of the RCMP, a limited number of French troops will be filled with this process. In order to help you decide if you have the language ability to take the Cadet training in English and/or in French, an optional self-assessment of your reading and writing skills is recommended. All Cadets are required to have a minimum BBB level in order to undertake Cadet training in their second official language.
* If your application is selected, you may be invited for a second language evaluation or asked to provide valid Government of Canada SLE results.
