Duties
Working for Parks Canada, the cleaner will be responsible for all cleaning duties for the Ontario Waterways Peterborough Headquarters Building, Peterborough Shops and Peterborough Lift Lock Visitor Centre.This will include but not be limited to: cleaning and disinfecting of washrooms, replenishing of supplies, cleaning all floors and stairwells, dusting, vacuuming and spot cleaning fabric surfaces, cleaning of windows (inside and out), cleaning disinfecting water fountains, cleaning common building areas (reception, staff break rooms, boardrooms), removing of all recycling and refuse including disposing of recycling weekly at the local depot.
During the winter months the successful candidate will also remove snow from the entry ways/walkways and place ice melt/sand as required. They will also perform other minor maintenance as required.

Other information
