MACOHA was established by an Act of Parliament, the Handicapped Persons Act of 1971 Cap. 33:02 as a Statutory Corporation. Its goal is to facilitate empowerment of people with disabilities to enable them to actively participate and be included in and economic development activities of their communities and the country.

Position: Centre Manager  (tenable at Kamuzu Vocational Rehabilitation and Training Centre, Chiradzulu)
Grade: MHC 5
Age: 35 years and above

Job Definition:
The incumbent is the Head of the Vocational Training Centre that runs programmes towards providing vocational skills to persons with disabilities and is responsible for financial human
management, resource management and administration of the training Centre.

Position: Director of Rehabilitation Services  

Grade: MHC2 tenable at MACOHA Head Office)
Age: 35 years and above

Job Definition:
The Director of Rehabilitation Services is Head of the Rehabilitation Department that is core to the provision of programmes and services to persons with disabilities. The incumbent reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling and evaluation of rehabilitation programmes and services.

Education/Professional Qualifications and Work Experience:
Interested candidates must possess Masters Degree in the field of Social, Sciences, Public or Business Administration plus a professional qualification obtained from a recognized institution with four (4) years working experience. Those with a Degree Disability Law have an added advantage.

Position: Assistant Procurement Officer 

Grade: MHC6 tenable at MACOHA Head Office

Job Definition:
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing procurement of goods and services with the Procurement Act of Malawi

Education/Professional Qualification and Work Experience:

• The candidate must have a Malawi School Certificate of Education plus an Advanced Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or any relevant qualification from recognized institution plus three years work related experience.

Position: Secretary to the Executive Director 

Grade: MHC7 tenable at MACOHA Head Office)

Job Definition:
A senior position, the incumbent will be responsible to manage the office of the Executive Director and undertake all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the role of the position.

Age: 30 years and above
