Duties

Provide administrative support services to a division or manager.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• providing the administrative support services,
• reviewing and directing enquiries or issues to the appropriate area for resolution,
• preparing and tracking documentation related to human resources, financial or administration requests,
• organizing and maintaining a managers agenda, meetings, conference and travel schedules
• coordinating and attending various meetings to document proceedings.

Education

• Have successfully completed two years of secondary school or meet one of the CRA-approved alternatives *
• *A satisfactory score on the CRA-approved test (General Competency Test, Level 1 – GCT1 – Pass mark 18); or
• *An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.

Experience

Experience A:

Recent and significant* experience in three (3) or more of the following:

• Providing general administrative or clerical support
• Planning and organizing events and or meetings
• Inputting and maintaining information in data systems and gathering information
• Organizing and compiling information to create documents or reports

And

Experience B:

Recent and significant* experience operating a computer using Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel software. This experience should include the preparation of documents, spreadsheets, and communication using e-mail.

*Experience is normally associated with the performance of these functions as part of the major job duties accomplished for a period of no less than six (6) cumulative months in the past two (2) years.
