    Responsibilities

    These positions are located within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Chief Business Office (CBO) Purchased Care (PC), Operations (OPS) at Helena, Montana. These positions are responsible for the daily management of non-VA medical care mail distribution, scanning of claim forms and medical records, medical records indexing, medical claims verification, authorization data entry, record filing, and limited claims processing for the organization. Your duties can include but are not limited to the following:
    • Reviews and processes incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence;
    • Ensures claims are properly opened, date stamped and sorted into categories for scanning;
    • Receives telephone calls regarding Veterans eligibility and/or entitlement to benefits for non-VA medical care;
    • Scans medical documentation and indexes the medical records to the patients electronic file;
    • Assists vendors with requests regarding payment issues, correct address and VA correspondence;
    • Assists Veterans in filing claims.


    Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
