Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final (e.g., confidential/secret/top secret, etc.) security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
Selectee must obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is primarily sedentary. No unusual physical demands are placed on the employee.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is performed in a typical office setting with proper temperature, light and ventilation.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume is the key means we have for evaluating your skills, knowledge, and abilities as they relate to this position. Therefore, we encourage you to be clear and specific when describing your experience.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) preparing memorandums and correspondences for an office; 2) maintaining databases; 3) using software programs (e.g., Office, Excel, and PowerPoint) to prepare reports and presentation material; and 4) maintaining storage of records and files according to regulations. (NOTE: Your answer must be supported by information in your resume.)
OR have successfully completed four full years above high school at an accredited college or university for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite in a field that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work of this position;
OR have a combination of experience and education as described above which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement.
