What General Information Do I Need To Know About This Position?

This is a term appointment for which all qualified applicants with or without Federal status may apply and be considered. Appointment to this position, however, will not convey permanent status in the Federal service and will be for a period not to exceed 13 months with possible extensions up to a total of 4 years without further competition.

Salary: $39,662 (GS-6 Step 01) to $51,565 (GS-6 Step 10); Salary: $44,075 (GS-7 Step 01) to $57,302 (GS-7 Step 10)

NOTE: First time hires to the Federal Government are typically hired at the Step 01.

Duties

As a Project Management Assistant within the Office of Enterprise Information, Information and Investment Management, some of your specific duties will include:

-Incumbent will serve as Operations Task Lead, supporting the daily coordination of fulfillment operations tasks in the Denver Distribution Center.

-Utilizes knowledge and understanding of projects, products, processes, policies and programs to provide input to project definition, workload and process definitions, as well as practices, principles and objectives of customer service.

-Performs in leadership positions for customer service, project management and team development by exhibiting knowledge of Innovative problem-solving processes, effective business operations and a sound knowledge of all customer-service activities and projects in the Branch.

-Initiates and participates in activities to assure integration of a variety of project areas which are frequently changing. Demonstrates clear understanding of the inter-related nature of projects supporting Branch objectives for exceptional customer service.

-Develops and implements strategy for integration of activities across team and/or project structures to support customer service and successful completion of project activities and team goals.

-The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing or sitting; regular bending, stretching, lifting or similar activities; walking from one work activity to another; and may include recurring lifting of moderately (40 lbs or more) heavy items, such as boxes of products for order fulfillment activities as well as resupplying the work activities with shipping containers. This work is performed in a warehouse setting with some activities performed within an office area.
