The selectee for this position will serve as a Management Assistant (OA) at the Directorate for Administration, in the Operations Management Department of Naval Health Clinic Corpus Christi, Texas.
Duties
Provides clerical and administrative support to the OPMAN department.
Conducts weekly directives reviews for compliance to determine if instructions are current and necessary, making recommendations for improvement.
Utilizes Web-based program to input and track awards submissions.
Provides control, review, and technical assistance in the reproduction of printed material
Males must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. www.sss.gov
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
May be required to successfully complete a probationary/trial period.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Basic Requirement:
Are you a qualified typist (i.e., able to type 40 words per minute with 3 or fewer errors based on a 5-minute sample)?
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Reviewing directives (i.e. instructions, notices, change transmittals) for compliance, proper signature and format.
Preparing, screening, routing, and editing proposed award citations.
Providing general office services such as responding to information requests and document management.
Reviewing office generated correspondence, ensuring accurate completion that conforms to standards
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

This is a non-critical sensitive IT-II position requiring the incumbent to obtain a favorable ANACI (Access National Agency Check with Inquiries) investigation for continued assignment to a non-critical sensitive position.
