Duties
There are two (2) positions is located in the Non VA Purchased Care Section of the VA Medical Center in Big Spring, TX.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Recruitment & Relocation Incentives: Not authorized

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops reports and gather data from a variety of sources to meet the standards required by management.
- Performs work involving the collection, compilation and/or tracking of data and statistical information in support of policy and procedures for rendering outpatient and inpatient care in the community.
- Communicates effectively with a diverse group of medical providers, RN team leaders, community case managers, and other clinic auxiliary staff.
- Provides relevant patient information to assist with the coordination of care and appointment scheduling within the community.
- Extracts information from various sources which will require consideration of the applicability of information and the characteristics and quality of sources.
- Plans, carries out the successive steps, handle problems and deviations in the work assignment in accordance with instructions, policies, procedures, previous training, or accepted practices in the occupation.
