The selectee for this position will serve as a PROGRAM SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Department of Psychiatry, F. Edward Herbert School of Medicine of the UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI.

Duties

The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

• Providing program administrative support with performance reports, appraisals, and awards.
• Maintaining electronic systems of record for ongoing and/or recurring tasks.
• Arranging travel, lodging, audiovisual, and/or materials for conferences/seminars.
• Providing information on procedures, operations, and policies related to non-technical issues.
• Preparing letters, reports, and bulletins in draft and final form.

Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-07:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support for a health care program.

Successfully completed one full year of graduate level education
-OR-
Successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement
-OR-
Combination of education and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience

To qualify for the GS-05:
Your resume must demonstrate at least 3 years of general experience that includes 1 year of experience equivalent to the GS-4 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates the ability to:

• Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; AND
• Plan and organize work; AND
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Such experience may have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work.

Successfully completed a 4 year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
OR
Combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
