New Finance Bank Malawi Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced and self-motivated candidates to fill the following position:
Compliance and AML Officer

The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring controls, detecting and reporting all breaches in controls, advising management on best practices and regulatory issues.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring an independent appraisal of internal controls, an independent confirmation of the effectiveness of control environment and that adherence to regulatory requirements is maintained.
• Produce reports that detect, outline breaches in controls at Branches and head office departments Facilitate non-compliant findings and regulatory issues
• Review and assist in resolving AMU CTF issues
• Review MUTF risks on a daily basis using AML/ CTF system
• Implement compliance program

Educational Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/ Banking/Law/Accounting
• Good understanding of compliance based methodologies.
• Good knowledge of AML/ CTF
• At least 3 years practical experience in compliance and AML
