GS-09 level, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 level or pay band in the Federal Service or equivalent level experience in the public or private sector performing duties such as: 1) using technical drawings, tools and techniques related to carpentry, plastics, painting or molding to fabricate and install museum structures or exhibits; 2) creating mats and frames to display art or documents; 3) collaborating with others to identify materials, tools and supplies required for museum exhibit projects
OR a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., which includes a major study of illustrative design, commercial art, fine arts, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, or other fields related to the position (submit a copy of your transcipts)
OR a combination of master's or equivalent graduate education which includes a major study of illustrative design, commercial art, fine arts, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, or other fields related to the position (submit a copy of your transcripts) and experience.
For the
GS-11 level, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 level or pay band in the Federal Service or equivalent level experience in the public or private sector performing duties such as: 1) designing, fabricating and installing highly professional museum exhibits; 2) interpreting technical drawings and using tools and techniques to produce museum structures or exhibits; 3) performing regular maintenance, monitoring and repairing museum exhibit spaces; 4) applying preservation/conservation techniques, procedures, and application as they relate to historical naval artifacts
OR Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. which includes a major study of illustrative design, commercial art, fine arts, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, or other fields related to the position (submit a copy of your transcripts)
OR a combination of Ph.D. or equivalent graduate education which includes a major study of illustrative design, commercial art, fine arts, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, or other fields related to the position (submit a copy of your transcripts) and experience.

Requirements:

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Selectee will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- Must be able to be respirator certified and receive annual respirator training and fit test.
- Work requires frequent bending, stooping, walking, standing, working in cramped positions, and climbing.
