Adrienne Riaz-KhanOn Thursday, July 13th, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM EST, AHCA, with guest speaker J. David Weidner, MPH, REHS, MEP, CEM, Director of Emergency Management from the Health Care Association of New Jersey, will hold a webinar on the new emergency preparedness final rule impacting Skilled Nursing Facilities, Nursing Facilities and Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. This final rule is not applicable to Assisted Living Providers.
The webinar will include an overview of the training and testing requirements, by addressing what are full-scale and table top exercises, how to find gaps in your plans, and organizing training for all staff members. Providers will need to be in compliance by November 2017. This is the third webinar in the four-part webinar series AHCA will hold this year on the emergency preparedness rule.
