This is an excepted service appointment under the Pathways Intern Program. This appointment may be continued until the selectee's educational requirements have been completed. After successful completion of the program requirements, the individual may at agency discretion be converted to a permanent appointment. Applicants must be located within the local commuting area and be available to work year round as a student. This is not a summer position. You can work part-time or full-time based on your school schedule.

Duties
Typical work assignments include:
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progresses.
- Receiving telephone calls and greeting visitors. Referring callers to appropriate staff.
- Preparing and/or processing a variety of non-legal documents, memoranda, and reports.
- Scheduling meetings for supervisors and/or attorneys.
- Maintaining alphabetical and chronological subject matter files.
- Assisting with other administrative tasks associated with the efficient running of the office.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progresses.
