The selectee for this position will serve as a Program Support Assistant (OA) performing a variety of administrative support functions and to advise management on the practical aspects of administrative functions of Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
Duties
The successful selectee will perform the following duties:
Receive and review all incoming correspondence and prepares replies to general inquiries to meet command needs.
Create, maintain and, archive files in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures and in accordance with Privacy Act Requirements.
Create or maintain a database to track information (e.g., vehicle information, accident reports, contract information, cellular phones, pagers, blackberries).
Generate reports to obtain or provide information related to organizational, administrative, or procedural matters.
Review and edit travel data utilizing Defense Travel System (DTS) for managers, supervisors, and their staff.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support to include receiving visitors/employees, supply management, time and attendance, personnel support, data processing, records management, travel management, and budgeting.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
