About the Agency

The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is Local Commuting/Surrounding Area. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) Preference eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

This position is located within the Business Operations Division. The incumbent will assist in developing internal special events and promotions for the activities where assigned.

Duties

- Responsible for submitting and proofing all marketing material for promotions for all activities
- Generating emails for Frequent Flyers, Mug Club, and Welcome Home Program
- Attend calendar meetings to ensure all upcoming events are accounted for and promoted properly
- Attend Newcomers' Briefing, and others hosted by, or in Business Operations facilities
- On-site responsibility for Special Events held within Business Operations facilities
- Design, create, and implement new marketing strategies
- Uses a variety of social media to promote Business Operation functions online

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must possess:
1. Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items.
2. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.
3. Skill in providing customer service.
4. Ability to communicate effectively.

Best Qualifying Criteria:
1. Work experience planning and promoting special events and promotions for a restaurant, bar, or club.
2. Possess experience working with Microsoft Office software.

Conditions of Employment:
