Duties
These positions are located within Nutrition and Food Services (NFS) of the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (GLA.) The selectees will be assigned to work at the West Los Angeles Healthcare System in the Sanitation/Dishwashing Section. This position will be required to work on weekends and holidays. Some of the duties of this position include (but are not limited to):
Work Schedule: 5 days a week (20 hours per week) including weekends and holidays; 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Recruitment & Relocation Incentives: Not authorized
NOTE: This is a part-time position (20 hours/week). The salary listed represents full-time employment and will be pro-rated based on the actual number of hours worked each pay-period. Likewise, benefits and time-off accrual will also be prorated and based on your part-time work schedule.
- Dishwashing, including patient meal trays and pots and pans
- Food Service cart washing
- Ensures equipment and dishware is stored and handled safely
- Assembling meal trays
- Cleaning and sanitizing of food production and service areas
- Cleaning and sanitation of food production and service equipment
