About the Position: This position is required to work under the general supervision of the Director Human Capital Planning, ACE-IT. You will coordinate and administer major training programs in the Competitive Development Program of the Army Career Program 34 (CP34)

Duties

 As a Career Program Administrator, you will manage CP34 Training Program and develop group training for functional groups in CP-34. You will advise CP-34 careerists on potential sources for IT education, especially though the professional development program. You will function as integral part of the review panel to approve professional development programs for CP34 funding. Listed are some of the duties you will perform:

• Provide training administration and coordination for all major programs and initiatives to enable Army ITM professional development, education, and training to a worldwide community of 700 Army IT civilians.
• Manage the CP-34 developmental training opportunities, , reviewing applications for funding decisions, registering approved applications, and notifying ACE-IT Directorates and trainees of approved training.
• Develop and promote outreach campaign to the organization workforce.
• Design, develop and conduct training workshops for offerings of CP-34 priority IT education and training programs and initiatives.
• Develop training material, establishes venue for training site and arrange registration process for workshops.
• Utilize electronic systems for project management, training management, financial management, and process control to administer activities and monitor progress of major programs.
• Support senior Program Managers in researching and analyzing training data and workforce trends to improve program performance and enhance training initiatives

Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Developing Career Programs training material 2)evaluating policies and procedures for the Career Program training OR 3) Utilizing electronic systems for project management, training management, financial management, and process controls.
 You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:
