About the Position:The positions are located within the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP), Directorate of Quality Assurance in McAlester, Oklahoma. MCAAP was originally commissioned as the Naval Ammunition Depot McAlester on May 20, 1943 and began its first production in September 1943. In October 1977, the naval facility was transferred to the Army under the Single Manager for Conventional Ammunition Act. MCAAP is a government-owned/government-operated facility. Our operating hours are from 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. We are closed on federal holidays. The mission of MCAAP is to produce and renovate quality conventional missile ammunition and ammunition-related components, perform engineering and product assurance in support of production, and receive, store, ship, demilitarize and dispose of conventional and missile ammunition and related items. Duties
Maintain supervisor calendar and schedule appointments and meetings.
Compile and consolidate data for the preparation of reports.
Screen calls and visitors directing them to the appropriate personnel.
Establish and maintain files and records in accordance with established office procedures.
Compose and route correspondence.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience formatting documents and reports;
Experience creating, retrieving, updating and storing electronic data;
Experience maintaining alphabetical, numerical and chronological office files and records; and
Experience monitoring project status and funding use.
Selective Placement Factor: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist types 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:

Successfully completed four years above high school leading to a bachelor's degree or Bachelor's Degree. Combining Education and Experience: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed undergraduate education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
Only degrees from an accredited college or university recognized by the Department of Education are acceptable to meet positive education requirements or to substitute education for experience.
