About the Position: Works under the general supervision of the US Army Alaska (USARAK) Resource Management, G-8 who provides broad administrative direction.
About the Location: Anchorage is host to many different cultures; unique shopping and dining facilities as well as sporting activities such as fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, snowboarding, skiing and site seeing. Approximate population is 300,000. It is the home to the University of Alaska-Anchorage as well as smaller community colleges. Average summer daylight time is 18 hours with temperatures usually in the 60s or 70s; winter daylight time is 6 to 8 hours with temperatures in the 20s to -10.

Duties
This is a developmental position, duties listed below will be performed in a developmental capacity at the GS-05 and GS-06 grade level. At the full performance, GS-07, the incumbent will:
- Serves as the liaison with the Defense Finance Accounting System (DFAS) located in Indianapolis.
- Serves as a resource and authority on all pay issues for USARAK/USAG-AK and tenant units.
- Provides training to new master timekeepers and updated guidance to timekeepers.
- Maintains and assists in the operation of the DCPS Customer Service Representative function.

- Less than 10% travel required away from primary worksite to meet mission requirements.
